# Terms of Service

General Server Rules and Regulations

When registering, the player confirms that he has read and respects the conditions established in this service contract available on our website legitimately.

1\. <mark style="color:green;">**Agreement to Terms**</mark>

By registering on LurathMU, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

* All information related to your account(s) is the property of LurathMU.
* You are responsible for the security of your account name and password. Do not share your login information with anyone. We are not responsible for any issues arising from sharing your account information, including in internet cafes.
* Buying, selling, or trading accounts or items for real money is prohibited. Any such actions will result in a permanent ban.
* Refund Policy: LurathMU administrators and GMs are not responsible for any lost, disappeared, missing, or stolen items. No refunds will be given for any reason, including donations.
* Donations are non-refundable. Donations are accepted voluntarily and have credit rewards associated with them.
* By registering, you agree to receive our monthly newsletter.

2\. <mark style="color:green;">**Hacking / Cheating**</mark>

* Any form of hacking or cheating that compromises LurathMU game server, forum, files, clients, or patches is prohibited.
* Hacking or abusing server bugs will result in a permanent ban.
* Abusing ranking systems or participating in fake guild wars will result in a permanent ban.
* We do not support the use of proxies or third-party software to hide IP addresses. Any issues arising from such use are your responsibility.
* Scamming, including buying, selling, trading, or off-trading, will result in a permanent ban. All logs will be investigated.

3\. <mark style="color:green;">**Staff Information and Impersonation**</mark>

* Do not use names that resemble those of administrators or GMs.
* Impersonating any staff member will result in a permanent ban.
* Be aware that staff members may use alternate characters and can issue warnings.

4\. <mark style="color:green;">**Advertising Other Gaming Servers**</mark>

* Advertising or mentioning other MU or non-LurathMU gaming servers is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
* Assisting in advertising other servers will also result in a permanent ban.

5\. <mark style="color:green;">**Advertising Non-Gaming Servers**</mark>

* Advertising or mentioning non-gaming websites, especially those containing adult content or unrelated shopping advertisements, is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.

6\. <mark style="color:green;">**Accessory to Rule Breaking**</mark>

* Assisting anyone who breaks the rules will result in a permanent ban. This includes giving advice to rule breakers.

7\. <mark style="color:green;">**Respect the Server and Staff**</mark>

* Personal attacks against the server or staff will not be tolerated and will result in a ban.
* Public discussions of staff actions are not allowed.
* Staff decisions are final. Challenging staff decisions will result in a permanent ban.
* Staff have the authority to lock or delete irrelevant or frivolous posts at their discretion.
* Staff can suspend or block accounts for investigation if necessary.
* Staff have the right to enforce rules for the community’s benefit.

8\. <mark style="color:green;">**Donators**</mark>

* Donations are non-refundable.
* Donators are treated equally with all other players.
* Donators who break rules will be banned, and all items in their accounts will be blocked and not returned.

9\. <mark style="color:green;">**Free Play Server**</mark>

This is a FREE PLAY private server. If you are dissatisfied with the game, staff, or settings, you are free to leave. The interpretation of these rules is solely up to the administrator or owner of LurathMU and can change at any time without prior notice.

10\. <mark style="color:green;">Digital Products</mark>

* We do not issue refunds for digital products once the order is submitted.
* If you experience issues with our products, contact us for assistance.
* By purchasing our digital products, you agree that there are no refunds under any circumstances.

11. <mark style="color:green;">Player-to-Player Sales</mark>&#x20;

* The sale of items and accounts for cash is permitted, subject to staff mediation.&#x20;
* The sale of Wcoin for cash is not permitted and is subject to a full ban on all accounts with the associated Hardware ID.

12\. <mark style="color:green;">**Privacy Policy**</mark>

LurathMU Online maintains a Privacy Statement summarizing our policies and processes for protecting information gathered from customers and visitors. This includes how personal data is collected, used, and safeguarded, as well as how to review, update, correct, or delete personal data.
